Amanda Fisher

I have been painting in a semi-professional capacity for over ten years, and this year I am fully committing to my practice. My work is abstract — predominantly expressionist landscape and portraiture — created in acrylic and mixed media on large-scale canvas, usually over a metre.

Texture is central to my work. I use paste, sand, and layered paint to give the surface a physical presence that photographs can only approximate. Each piece needs to be experienced in space.

I sell pre-framed, and I offer a frame selection service — helping collectors visualise how a work might sit in their home before committing. I am based on the Costa del Sol and work with collectors and interior designers worldwide.
